ORDINANCE Nº. 210 DATED NOVEMBER 10, 1998
The SECRETARY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURAL AND LIVESTOCK DEFENSE, under the
MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND SUPPLY, by the authority vested in him by Article 83, item IV
of the Departmental Internal Regulation, approved by Ministerial Ordinance No. 319, dated
May 6, 1996, WHEREAS there is a need to implement a Standardization of the Methods for the
Preparation of Products of Animal Origin as regards Facilities, Equipment, Site Hygiene
and Working Plan in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Inspection Service for
Poultry Slaughtering and Processing.
WHEREAS a Technical Regulation for Technological, Hygienic and Sanitary Inspection of
Poultry Meats has been submitted to, discussed and approved by the segments of the Poultry
Meat productive chain and their representative entities.
WHEREAS the progress and development of the industry requires an update of Ordinance
No. 04, dated June 27, 1988, resolved:
Art. 1. To approve the Technical Regulation for Technological, Hygienic and Sanitary
Inspection of Poultry Meats.
Art. 2. This Ordinance shall be effective within sixty days after its publication, and
any provision stating otherwise is herein revoked.
